Maquoketa-class Fast Battleship - High Speed, No Drag

It has been a while since I created a ship in my own setting. I settled on filling in the gap between the Sirentide-class Battleships, which are roughly analogous to what the Montana-class Battleship would have been in real life, and the Black Hills-class, which were equivalent to the South Dakota of World War 2 fame.

I thought of creating a ship that integrated the aesthetics I'd settled on for the Salem-class cruiser with a new workflow featuring the things I'd picked up making commissions, particularly on using Substance Painter for the majority of panel and detail work for displacement maps rather than relying on bevels and extrusions to create panels out of geometry.
